Ok this is the infamous Playmobil 4882 Robo-Gangster Special Boat or Battle Yacht as the Robos like to call it.
I have to say this is a pretty sleek and stylish looking boat even if it does belong to Dr.Devil. This thing has a lot of impressive features to make even the Top Agents jealous.
Let’s take a look at what this thing can do.
What The Playmobil 4882 Has To Offer
It’s a boat, so the ideal place for playing with this thing is in the water. It is not a huge toy at, 16 x 8 x 6 inches, so you won’t need a whole bath tub to accommodate it. In fact you don’t even need water because your child can use his or her imagination and pretend it is in the ocean or a large river.
- Just like with the Top Agent vehicles the Robo-Gangsters also have a collection of secret little gadgets hidden away.
Such as the weapons.
Playmobil 4882 has a little hatch at the front of the boat that opens up to reveal two missiles that shoot at the enemy ahead. Also, just in front of the missile launcher at the tip of the boat is a pointed battering ram. This will come in handy when Dr.Devil wants to drive the yacht straight into an enemy boat or even the Agents Headquarters.
Both sides of the Robo-Gangster boat also have mini battering rams that can flip out when they need to be used and then fold back into the sides of the boat when the mission is over.
- Now, here is something real impressive. This boat has a tiny plane onboard that can be removed to join in with any
battles. That little jet plane is actually the roof of the boat.
With a simple sliding motion the jet pops off and becomes a weapon of its own. It has room for one Gangster in the cockpit and even has two radio antenna pointing up from both wings.
The jet has an aerodynamic shape to it and also one huge jet engine at the back. Both the shape and the engine together will help power the jet to phenomenal speeds.
Playmobil Top Agents
While the jet is in the air the Robo-Gangster Special Boat is still able to cruise along without its roof making it look more like a speed boat.
- As an added bonus, if you really want to have fun in the water and watch this Playmobil 4882 boat speed around on
its own you can upgrade it by adding the Playmobil Underwater Motor.
This little motor is sold separately but isn’t expensive at all and certainly would be a worthwhile addition to this already amazing toy. Basically follow the instructions and use it to power the boat in the water. It uses one AA battery which is not included.
The motor set up is easy and if the motor does happen to pop off while in use your child should quite easier be able to pop it back on all on their own.
- The Playmobil 4882 Agents Robo-Gangster Special Boat comes with two Robo-Gangsters. Both wearing black, one with a security uniform and gun and the other with a security helmet and a silver briefcase.
I wonder what’s in the case.
You also get two missiles for the launcher, two mini robots and various other accessories.
